The snow. The superficial holidays do not impress me, but the cold and the snow, and the new ways you have to move in the strangness of this winter world that we humans were not designed for. The fact that to stay warm, we come together, cuddling and warming one another not only with pphysical company, but with love.

How did you meet your partner?

Through friends at the Harborfest near my home town. He was one of the people driving to the harbor, and we just starting talking..... and talking.... and talking... Through the fireworks, our friends making fools of themselves at the Midway, and afterwards. Even when he drove me home and we were sitting in front of my house, we didn't want it to end..... and it hasn't.

What question made the biggest impact on your life?

This is in Response to the Questions and Reflections for December 16, 2008:

"Have you seen the light?"

during a discussion with my partner on the day we met. I was in an abusive relationship at the time, and he was trying to help me out. I knew, in my gut, what the question ment in a way that I cannot explain, even though I was refusing to see the truth of the relationship with my ex, I could understand this question.
